How to Play Slope Rider
- Start a run. Choose Play, then follow any menu or instructions inside the game.
- Find a clear route. Your sled moves forward automatically. Steer left and right, and jump to avoid hazards. You cannot stop or brake.
- Collect gifts along the way. Pick a safe route to a gift box rather than steering into an obstacle to reach it.
- Try again after a crash. A collision ends the run. Use the game's own menu to start another; the website's Reload game button reloads the whole game.

Tips to Ride Farther
- Look farther ahead. Choose your next gap before the closest obstacle fills the view, giving yourself time to react.
- Leave room to change direction. Avoid steering into a narrow space with no clear exit just to collect a gift.
- Jump with a landing in mind. Clearing one obstacle is only useful if the route beyond it is open.
- Learn from the last crash. Notice whether you reacted late, chose a crowded route or chased a gift, then focus on that decision in the next run.
The results screen shows Score, Best and Meters separately. Compare the same measure between runs; distance and score are not interchangeable.
Obstacles to Watch For
The course includes trees, icy boulders, falling ice and rolling snowballs. Watch both the open route ahead and hazards moving into it.
- Trees and rocks: look for a clear gap early so you have room to steer around them.
- Moving hazards: keep watching their direction as you approach; a gap that looks clear may not stay clear.
- After a jump: look beyond the nearest obstacle and check the space where you expect to land.
Gifts and Sleds
Collect gift boxes on the course and use them to unlock sleds in the game. Open the sled menu to see the available designs and the gift requirement for each choice.
Build your collection over multiple runs. Skip a gift when reaching it would put you in the path of a hazard.
